Write out your lists with real pen and paper

I’m a big fan of electronic systems to organise your life and automate business processes.  I like being able to dump things into Evernote, use TimeTrade for clients to book meetings, and put all of my tasks into Todoist.

But for my weekly plan and my things to achieve today lists, I like to use a real pen and paper.  Something about it makes it much more real for me, it goes into my head better.  And ticking off a completed item in pen (or putting a big bold line through it with an indelible Sharpie) is so much more satisfying.

This is part of a series of ultra short blogs with random business tips I use with clients (and myself) on a regular basis.
